On behalf of all the doctors at Allied Physicians Group, we are very excited to announce that we’ve earned recognition as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) for 2024 standards. Our Allied offices have achieved this standard since 2014. According to the NYS Department of Health 2022 PCMH Quarterly Report, across the nation, New York State (NYS) has consistently led in this standard representing 19.2% of all clinical practices. Approximately 16% of all PCMH certified clinicians work in NYS, with our Allied pediatricians and clinicians continuing to place top in this recognition.
PCMH is the gold standard of quality pediatric care. It was initially introduced by the American Academy of Pediatrics in 1967. Our PCMH recognition fully supports our mission and dedication to provide the highest quality healthcare with exceptional service for all. It recognizes that the Allied model of care puts patients at the forefront of care and is committed to continuous quality improvement and a patient-centered approach. Our model emphasizes prevention while setting an example for the treatment of illness, disease, and injury.
