Telehealth at Allied Physicians Group

A telehealth visit is a consultation, health check, or sick visit with an Allied Physicians Group Physician via video conferencing. It is comparable to a FaceTime or Skype call using an iOS or Android device. The physician is able to look at your child, manage symptoms, and talk to you from anywhere you are.

Most insurance plans accepted.

Self-Pay Rates

Strauss Allergy & Asthma – $100

Macaluso Breastfeeding Medicine – $175

If you are in need of a telehealth visit and it is between the hours of 6:30 pm-10:30 pm please call, 833.269.2444.

Download the AnyTime Pediatrics app from the App Store or Google Play to get started!

COVID-19 and Telehealth

At Allied Physicians Group our main concern is the health and wellbeing of our patients, their families and the community. The situation is evolving rapidly and we are making every effort to implement protocols to maximize safety within our 33 locations.

We understand there is a lot of fear and concern right now. The sensationalism and nonstop coverage from the media is making it difficult to respond rationally.

Fortunately, children have been having less severe infections. Children are exposed to many other coronaviruses every winter and this is thought to be one of the reasons why the infection is less severe in younger people. However, they can expose others who may be at greater risk for more severe outcomes.

If your child has fever and cough and is not ill-appearing, it is best to avoid our office and call for a telehealth visit. We are making every effort to safely keep these children out of the office. If you think your child needs medical attention, please call us and we will arrange appropriate care.

Recommendations for most Sick Visits:

We are asking all families to download the Anytime Pediatrics app. Directions are below.

We strongly encourage telehealth visits, when appropriate. Below you will find the list of Allied offices with their practice code. Non-Allied families, please use practice code: 2444.

After-hours telehealth visits are available with an Allied pediatrician, 7 nights a week, from 6:30 – 10:30 pm.

Although telehealth is effective, some sick visits will still need to be seen in the office.

Recommendation for Well Visits:

Well visits with your pediatrician are an essential part of good health and well-being. Well visits and vaccinations are very important. When we finally get through the current pandemic, we certainly do not want to see an increase in vaccine-preventable diseases, such as whooping cough (pertussis) and measles. These diseases can be extremely dangerous to your children.

Keep and remember to schedule your child’s well visits, it’s important.

We are asking families to limit the number of caregivers bringing the child to the office.

Getting Started

Step One

Download the Anytime Pediatrics App. During the registration process, you will be asked for a practice code. Please find your practice code by clicking the practice code button above. (If you need to add the practice code after registering, please go to the bandaid icon in the app and add the practice code there)

If you are in need of a telehealth visit and it is between the hours of 6:30 pm-10:30 pm please call, 833.269.2444.

Step Two

Log in to the app on any device, go to the patient icon, select the patient who needs the visit, select request a visit (you should see your practice listed). If it is grayed out, your practice is not open to walk-in telemedicine visits at this time but may be able to see you (in these circumstances please contact the office to schedule).

Step Three

You will enter the virtual waiting room. You may receive chat notifications from the admin to gather any important information once you enter the practice virtual waiting room. Otherwise, you will be routed to the next available provider.
