Allergy testing is often ordered inappropriately by non-specialists and is difficult to interpret. Our highly trained allergists will obtain a comprehensive clinical history to help determine what, if any, testing might be necessary. Testing can include:

Blood testing is an alternative to skin testing and may be used to identify the reaction to allergens like:

Stinging insects

Medications

We will draw blood samples to analyze the immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels in the blood. IgE are antibodies that appear as an allergy response to fight off allergens. Results will appear after a few days.
