David Salikof, MD

Dr. Salikof was raised in Tulsa, OK. He attended Trinity University in Texas and completed his medical education at the University of Oklahoma. After medical school, he began his pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Upon completing his residency, he started his pediatric career at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, MD, where he spent 13 years. This unique setting included both a pediatric emergency department and a pediatric inpatient unit all rolled into one.

After his oldest son left for college, he and his family decided to do something different and relocated to Pensacola, FL, where he worked at Florida West Hospital as a Hospitalist. While the role in Pensacola was rewarding, the move to NY was truly about greater pediatric opportunities – and not to mention a serious lacrosse-playing son!

During his off time, Dr. Salikof enjoys vacationing in warm places, watching lacrosse, working out, and playing pickleball.
