How Can Allied Physicians Group Help Me on My Breastfeeding Journey?

Allied’s breastfeeding medicine services include in-office consultations with breastfeeding and lactation medicine physicians who exclusively care for breastfeeding parents and their children, board-certified pediatricians that are international board-certified lactation consultants who care for breastfeeding families in their regular pediatric offices, or board certified lactation consultants who counsel patients in Allied pediatric offices. Each individual helps moms and babies accomplish a breastfeeding plan that works for them. We also offer virtual visits for your convenience and comfort, which have been invaluable resources to new moms in those early, sleepless days!

Why Do New and Soon-To-Be Mothers Need Breastfeeding Support?

Transitioning to parenthood can be overwhelming. The fourth trimester is a unique period for mother and baby, and all breastfeeding mothers deserve an in-depth session with follow-ups as needed to optimize their health and the health of their infants. Dr. Lauren Macaluso and, as of May 2023, Dr. Lena Edelstein are honored to provide quality breastfeeding and lactation specialist medical care to breastfeeding families where their individual goals can be met.
