Lori Chodash, NP
Lori Chodash, APRN, PNP-PC, PMHNP-BC, is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunotherapy with over 15 years of clinical experience. She holds a Master’s in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Health from Molloy University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. A lifelong learner, Lori also obtained advanced certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Hofstra University in 2024 graduating with honors and is currently working toward her Doctorate of Nursing Practice. With expertise in managing allergy patients, Lori provides comprehensive care for individuals with asthma, food and environmental allergies, eczema, and other atopic conditions. She is committed to offering holistic, patient-centered care, ensuring each treatment plan is personalized to meet the unique needs of every patient.
Lori has also served as a clinical adjunct instructor at Molloy University, mentoring nursing students during their clinical rotations at Mercy Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, and Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital. Passionate about education, she voluntarily precepts Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioner candidates, preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals. A member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Nurses Association, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and the National Association of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Lori remains dedicated to advancing her knowledge in allergy and immunology, as well as mental wellness, to provide the highest standard of care. In addition to her clinical work, she is a published author. Lori wrote the book, Hailey’s Brave Visit to the Allergist, which aims to educate and ease the fears of children dealing with allergies and allergy-related health issues. In her free time, Lori loves spending time with her family, traveling, reading and enjoying the beach.
Lori is excited to continue work in the community she calls home, helping improve the quality of life for individuals living with allergies and related conditions.
