Nubia Vargas-Chen, MD

Dr. Vargas-Chen is a graduate of Universidad Militar Nueva Granada in Colombia. She completed her pediatric residency at The New York Flushing Hospital Medical Center. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a board-certified pediatrician. She has been a clinical assistant professor at Hofstra University and Stony Brook University. Her medical interests are in preventive medicine, innovation, and technology in the medical field. She is a Lieutenant (R) of the Colombian Army. Dr. Vargas-Chen is a creative baker, cookie, and cake decorator. She resides in Long Island with her husband and son.
