Hi Allied! It’s #TelemedicineTuesday!
We have sure been having some challenging weather! The weekend’s high heat and humidity kept me (and my asthma) basically indoors the whole time.
Then, last night’s rainstorm! I was so glad to be safe at home with my husband and my babies (who aren’t babies at all).
Even with the thunder, lightning, and flooding, I was fortunate that my internet kept going until after I was done with my telemedicine hours.
I was so glad to see Allied babies last night in my virtual office. The combination of heat and humidity can cause many rashes, especially diaper rashes. And there’s more than one type of diaper rash, which is something that is perfect for a telemedicine consult.
In bad weather, it’s easier to keep Telemedicine in mind. But, even on the nicest of evenings, if your Allied office is closed for the evening and your immediate reaction may be to take your child to urgent care, Stop for a moment, and remember to #ThinkTelemedicine.
