Lena Edelstein, MD
Originally a Long Island native, she spent a decade in Philadelphia prior to returning home to Long Island to complete a pediatric residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center. She attended Haverford College where she majored in Chemistry and minored in physics and developed her love of running on varsity cross country and track teams. After two years of biomedical engineering research, she returned to school and attended the Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. She has a special interest in Breastfeeding Medicine and lactation care and is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant.
Lena Edelstein and her husband have three children. She is an avid runner, and loves to grow things, try new recipes, and do crafts with her kids!
