Catherine Torres, RN
Catherine is a Registered Nurse with a passion for providing compassionate care to patients. She was born and raised on Staten Island. After completing her high school education, she pursued her dream of becoming a nurse by enrolling in Saint Paul’s School of Nursing on Staten Island. This institution provided her with a solid foundation in nursing theory and practice, as well as invaluable hands-on experience in various healthcare settings.
Throughout her nursing education, she discovered her love for pediatric nursing and developed a particular interest in working with children. One of her favorite aspects of pediatric nursing is being able to incorporate her love for Disney into her practice. She often uses Disney characters and stories to create a positive and engaging environment for patients, helping to alleviate their fears and anxieties.
Catherine is also fluent in Spanish. This skill has allowed her to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients and provide culturally sensitive care. Outside of her nursing career, she enjoys spending time with her kids, husband, and fur babies! She loves exploring new places, and immersing herself in different cultures or just kicking back and watching Disney movies or driving around in what her son calls her blue race car.
