Khalid S. Ahmad, MD, Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Khalid Ahmad is board certified in Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine. Raised on Long Island, he graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and received his specialty training at Winthrop University Hospital and Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He has extensive clinical experience in rare and challenging pulmonary and sleep disorders. He worked as Attending and Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University Medical Center and as Assistant Professor of Pulmonology in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was part of a large private practice in Central Florida before deciding to return home to Long Island. Dr. Ahmad is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and has a working knowledge of Spanish and Arabic.
