Leah Vitale MOT, OTR/L, CLC
Leah Vitale MOT, OTR/L, CLC, received her Masters of Occupational Therapy from James Madison University in 2010. She is a certified lactation counselor and maintains a NY state license as well as a national certification and membership with the American Occupational Therapy Association and National Association for Neonatal Therapists.
She brings over ten years of experience and has dedicated herself to pediatric occupational therapy, treating children of all ages in various settings. Her clinical skills with the pediatric population include but are not limited to premature infants, neonatal feeding therapy, neurodevelopmental care, and lactation support. These skills have contributed to her passion for working with mothers and newborns as they begin their feeding journey.
As a new mother, Leah realized the lack of support in breastfeeding and developmental guidance. She aims to support the caregiver-baby dyad and facilitate optimal bonding to foster a loving and nurturing relationship. Her holistic approach provides families with strategies they can incorporate into their daily lives to build confidence and empower them to begin their own feeding journey.
