Mary Orazem, PNP
Mary Orazem embarked on a distinguished career in nursing, beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the College of New Rochelle in 1991. Building on this foundation, Mary pursued an advanced education at New York University (NYU), earning a Master of Arts in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification. In 2002, Mary further specialized by obtaining a postgraduate certification in children with special needs. Demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning and excellence in the field, Mary achieved a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Chamberlain University in 2016.
Throughout an illustrious career, Mary has accumulated extensive experience across several prominent healthcare institutions. Starting at NYU in 1991, Mary worked there for over a decade until 2003. Following this, she joined Maimonides Medical Center, serving until 2008. Mary then transitioned to Staten Island Hospital, where she worked until 2013. Specializing in pediatric care, she dedicated eight years to Children’s Specialized Hospital from 2013 to 2021 before taking on a new role at Ditmas Children’s from 2021 to 2024. Throughout these positions, Mary has consistently demonstrated expertise and a deep commitment to providing exceptional care to children and their families.In her free time, you can find Mary spending time with her husband, and two daughters.
