Richard Park, MD

Richard Park, MD is a health care entrepreneur, investor, and board-certified emergency medicine physician. In 2010, he founded and began leading CityMD, an urgent care practice group that grew to over 130 locations and 650 physicians in the Greater New York area until its merger with Summit Medical Group in 2019.

Dr. Park is currently the CEO & Co-founder of Rendr, the leading primary care focused, multi-specialty physician group dedicated to serving the Asian community in New York City at close to 100 clinical sites throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. In addition to leading Rendr, Dr. Park is also the Co-Managing Partner of Ascend Capital Partners, a middle market growth private equity fund he co-founded, investing in healthcare service providers. Prior to founding CityMD, he was a practicing emergency medicine physician at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and received multiple Teaching Attending of the Year Award. Dr. Park received his MD from Albert Einstein Medical College and his BS from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
