Sara Sussman, MD

Dr. Sara Sussman is certified by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology as well as the American Board of Pediatrics. She will be treating patients of all ages for conditions related to Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dr. Sussman graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in the History of Science and Medicine. She then received her medical degree at Tulane University in New Orleans. She stayed in New Orleans and completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans, LSU Health Sciences Center.  She returned to her home of Long Island and completed her fellowship dealing with both adult and pediatric patients in Allergy and Immunology at Northwell Health/Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra. Dr. Sussman is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Long Island Allergy and Asthma Society, and the American College and American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.  She has presented at multiple conferences including the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology and the Clinical Immunology Society conferences. When she is not at work, she loves to read, listen to podcasts, and most of all spend time with her family and two daughters.
